Collaboration HaRUM and IHH (TULONG MARAWI Mission)

Cotabato, 24 Nov 2017 – President of HaRUM Tn Hj Sayed Khairul Mizan with En. Abu Bakar, Secretary-General of HaRUM and En Naem Hashim as Head of Project Management and Youth of HaRUM have made an informal visit to IHH to discuss about humanitarian mission work in the archipelago, especially in Southern Philippines.

They have been welcomed by Brother Uz. Omer Kesmen (representative of IHH in the Philippines) and Ustazah Anisa Taha (Chairman of Ugur Suleyman Soylemez Orphanage in Cotabato, Philippines) there.

The meeting commenced with an introductory session for both parties, and continued with discussions on humanitarian issues in the Southern Philippines, particularly in conflict-affected areas.

Syukur Alhamdulillah, during the discussions with IHH many important and agreed agreements have been achieved through the clear and equal goals of HaRUM and IHH in working together to provide assistance and help in the current humanitarian issues.

HaRUM also had chance to meet a representative from Ribat an NGO’s from Turkey who also visiting IHH in Cotabato on the same day.

This meeting once again opened the opportunity to HaRUM when Brother Omer himself stated “This office is also the office of HaRUM” as a sign of consent and excitement over this partnership

Hopefully this effort will be a starting point that will bring greater and more significant change to the whole world, especially the archipelago.
