All praise to Allah,

The Korban Kasih Harum – Southern Philippines mission has been successfully conducted.

Thank you to all Malaysians who have put their trust in HaRUM in allowing us to facilitate their sacrifice for the celebration of Eid Al Adha. For your information a total of 53 cows was sacrificed for the Southern Philipine region which encompasses the following areas:

1- Sulu , 10 cows (sacrificed on the 1st day of Eid Al Adha: 1/9/2017)
2- Tawi-Tawi, 5 cows (sacrificed on the 2nd day of Eid Al Adha: 2/9/2017)
3- Marawi, 38 cows (Sacrificed on the 4th day of Eid Al Adha: 4/9/2017)

The sacrifices in Southern Philipines includes the cost of cooking due to the fact that there was limited funds to prepare the raw materials or ingredient for cooking the sacrificial feast. There are no word to describe their gratitude to all Malaysians except their multitude of thanks for helping and brightening up their lives for their celebration of Eid Al-Adha. We were also touched by the exuberant look in their faces despite them living in poverty.

We also had support from local NGOs over there such as MINSUPALA NGO as well as other non-Muslim NGOs. It was a beautiful experience seeing Muslim and non-Muslim NGO working together side by side with a common goal of making this mission a successful one either from the aspect of distribution or preparation of food. Muslim and non-Muslim embrace each other as one big family setting aside any differences with full of respect for each other.

HaRUM’s effort over the Southern Philipines managed to attract the attention of one specific government agency, DSWD which is responsible for the temporary settlement of victims of crises. We were informed by the DSWD that HaRUM is the first foreign NGO that arrived in effort to aid victims of crises in Marawi. We would like to reiterate that we would not have been able to reached Marawi without the support and prayers from all the people. We are merely representatives of the people of Malaysia that are directly or indirectly involved in the Sacrifice of Love for Southern Philippines mission
