UNIW’s 22nd Annual General Meeting

Istanbul, Dec 8 – UNIW has held their 22th Annual General Meeting in Istanbul, Turkey. More than one hundred NGO representatives from several countries have sent their respective delegates including from Malaysia.

HaRUM is one of the NGO representatives from Malaysia who is also a member of UNIW since 2014, has sent its president Sayed Khairul Mizan to this 22nd Annual General Meeting.

During this meeting, HaRUM took the opportunity to meet UNIW Secretary-General, Mr. Ali Kurt and Deputy Secretary-General, Tuan Haji Azam to hand over HaRUM’s mini profile.

The meeting went well, and Mr Ali Kurt was retained as the UNIW Secretary General for the new term. During the open discussion, majority of the delegates have expressed their protest against Trump’s actions in declaring Al Quds as the capital of Israel.

The meeting ended at 12 noon for Friday prayers. The Inauguration International NGO Fair 2017 will be held on the next.
