THE CELEBRATION OF AIDILFITRI AT RUMAH PENYAYANG HANI

On the 15th of July 2017, HaRUM together with AcesCare, one of the financial advisor agencies visited the oldfolks of Rumah Penyayang Hani in Kajang in an effort to celebrate and commemorate them in conjunction of Aidilfitri celebration this year.

The celebration started off with a casual ice-breaking session, followed by the elderly sharing their story of life experiences. They were then entertained by a singing performance by Acescare while enjoying the food, and raya cookies that were provided in the event.

The joy and smiles that were evident on each one of their faces clearly shows their appreciation towards our presence in celebrating Aidilfitri with them. In the excitement of celebrating Aidifitri with our loved ones, we need to remember that there are still others who are less fortunate that could not experience the celebration with their family.

The event ended with the contribution of daily necessities and gift money to every resident in the care center.

We hope that events such as this could be organized always regardless of occasion or festivals in line with HaRUM’s objective to organize activities which cultivate the spirit of brotherhood and kinship amongst members of the community.
